This all-purpose tracing medium eliminates artists having to make their transfer sheets. The coating has no wax or grease, so the tracing may be inked or painted over without skipping. You’ll be able to easily erase without smearing, too.

Rated 4 out of 5 by HHK1 from tracedown is like carbon paper I used this to trace a pattern onto material.It is very simple to use. You put the tracedown paper onto the material and I put a photocopy of the design I wanted to embroider, over the tracedown (which is like carbon paper). Then you just draw over the design with a pen. I needed to press down quite hard and had to go over a few lines where the pattern hadn't transferred. The design came out ok but there was a couple of smudges on the material.The instructions said they would sponge off but they didn't on my material. I would be careful next time, of pressing on it with my hands.
