packing and colours very attractive to the eye, captured my 8 year old little girls this eyes and she wanted them straight away, of course for £16 i was very reluctant but she used her own birthday money. got home to use them and the product is an absolute disgrace, doesn't do what it says on the tin they are just way over priced paint pens, nothing puffy about them and they sure as hell 'don't puff up like popcorn' as stated on the front of the packaging! i have one very sad little girl and I'm furious at the cheek of hobby craft charging so much for a product which doesn't do what it says!! shame on you!!!

Not really pens - more like paint in a tube!
Not at all what we were expecting- these ‘puffy pens’ are not pens at all, but really just paint in a tube. You cannot write with them as I expected, but have to squeeze out the paint as you go, as the tubes a quite firm, this is not an easy task for little hands!
We used a heat gun to puff up the paint - this did work well, but I don’t think they will last for many projects, so not great value for money either.

Problems with Puffy Pens
I saw Puffy Pens on line in an advert and thought they looked fun but expensive (so waited for a voucher). I read the reviews and wasn’t convinced these would be worth the money so watched some videos on how to use them and gave them a go. You have to squeeze the pens to get the liquid out and then wait for it to dry before using the hairdryer(in my case). They do foam up and produce amazing effects - my advice would be for older kids and adults to use as they are fiddly and to use in small areas but I love them!

Does not do what it says on the box
These pens are almost useless, bought as xmas gifts dissappointed. I bought in store so hadn't read online reviews and bought a packet for both children. As previous reviewers have said you have to wait for them to dry to work (old found out after box opened) and then run the hair dryer very close too and for a long time for effects. No great in the cost of living crisis. And not use for "an immediate 3D effect." Do not waste your money, I'm just annoyed I lost the receipt, and also no idea how to return them as they where in a 3 for 2. Do not buy.

Terrible :(
Feel I wasted my money on these. My daughter was quite excited to try her new puffy pens but despite following the instructions, the ink really didn’t puff up. I don’t normally leave reviews but these were so disappointing, I thought I should say something a bit might save someone £16
