Great price for size but poor quality fabric
The size of the cross stitch for the price is incredible. However, the fabric is such poor quality. It’s the stiffest fabric I’ve ever used and with the size of it too it’s more like a chore to complete than a hobby. The yarns are very cheap quality too but that is understandable for the price.

Mission Impossible!
As a previous reviewer has said, the canvas is so stiff it's almost impossible to reach the part you want to sew and the holes are easily missed. I was away for a weekend and thought I'd get something to fill in time and was tempted by this - lovely design and incredible size and silks for the price - but should have know there was a reason! But the worst thing is I was specifically looking for an easier project with the design already printed. This says on the box it has PRINTED COTTON, but IT IS NOT. It is slightly easier than a straightforward Counted Cross-stitch in that there is a full colour print of the design with stitch markings but THE CANVAS/COTTON IS BLANK. I wouldn't have bought it if I'd known. I didn' t manage any over the weekend as it involved too much concentration, and doubt I'll ever spend the time doing it at home either.
It is also 58 x 58 cm (23x 23 ins) not 62 x 40 cm as stated in your description, although this didn't affect me as I bought it in a Hobbycraft shop.
