My two daughters really wanted to make their own tie dye clothes as we are off to a festival in the summer holidays, however i was a little apprehensive of using dye as they are only 7 & 5 years old & didn't want them to get covered & make lots of mess! but this product is brilliant it comes with a full set of instructions on how to make lots of different patterns,easy to use squeezey bottles with the dye mixture in which my girls found really fun to use, & lots of disposable gloves which you must wear as the dye does stain skin but does wash of eventually! We made some fab tie dye clothes very impressed with this product.

So much fun
I did this with my 6 year old and it was great fun, rather messy as the gloves arent great but nothing to worry about they dye came out after a few days. The finished products are amazing and we have had family ask us to do them stuff. The only thing I would say is I wish they did the bottles smaller because there is no way we could have used it in the 45 mins they say the dye is good for, we were at it for nearly 3 hours and did 2 adult shirts 2 kids shirts 4 bags a make up bag and a large shopping bag and still had to waste some dye.

Fun, easy to use and vibrant colours!
We used two of these packs with a group of young people over half term and they all thoroughly enjoyed the tie dye. The bottles and gloves meant that there was little mess and the colours came out really vibrant even after a couple of washes. Great fun. The only slight problem was that there wasn't enough dye for the amount of items it says it can colour so just buy more if needed.

Lovely colours obtained on cotton with Tie-Dye.
I have tie-dyed 3 t-shirts and 4 small Hobbycraft cotton bags with the Tulip Tie-Dye kit. It was easy to use and not as messy as I thought it would be. I rinsed them in cold water then soaked them all together in cold water, vinegar and salt for an hour. The water was still clear. I then machine washed them. There was no transfer of dye between the items but I will wash them again to make sure. There is still a fair bit of dye left (without using the extra packs provided) which I will use to do a couple more t-shirts plus a few older ones. One of the dyed ones was an old white one which now looks like new! This is my first Tie-Dye attempt and they all worked out well. I had not intended to take up a new hobby as I only wanted to do a couple for my grandchildren but I really loved the result.

Great for all ages, makes loads of projects!
Very easy instructions to follow, with fab colourful results. Shirts have survived a few washes without fading, as have dresses and duvet covers! Pack includes a refill sachet, which means the dye doesn't have to all be used at once - sachets can be tied and used at a later date! The bottles are a good quality and make application easy. Anyone can use it; beginners and experts!

Great fun, great quality, great results
I bought this pack to use at a tie dye birthday party. As refills are included for each colour there was more than enough dye for the 7 party guests to dye a T shirt (I used childs sized 9-10, obviously bigger t shirts require more dye, smaller items less dye) We followed the instructions included in the pack to dye several different designs and all the girls were really happy with the finished results.

Really simple, fab results.
This kit is very easy to use. The results I got were excellent and I've had quite a few positive comments about the garments I have done.
The kit states up to 30 projects, but that would be only if they are tiny! I did a small child's t-shirt, an adult t-shirt and a pair of sneakers.
