Rated 4 out of 5 by Ellie Squiggle from Great product Really good strong, vibrant fabric paint. Washed off skin easily.

Rated 3 out of 5 by DizzyDee25 from Thick paint I found all of Hobbycraft fabric paints to be very thick and a bit stodgy, not like other paints I normally use. Bought various colours as there is a large selection but was a little disappointed by them. May have to try watering them down a little before using next time.

is this permanent or will it wash out in high temperature washes

Asked by: autumn3
It is permanent and can be heat set to make it more hard wearing. However if applied too thickly it may flake and wear more quickly.

If I were using this for a seat pad, is there any chance of transfer of colour onto clothes?

Asked by: Anonymous
It should not transfer colour as long as you give it a couple of days to fully dry and then heat set it.

Can i use this on Satin

Asked by: Natlou
You could use this fabric paint on Satin, however it would require careful application and preparation to achieve good results, as satin is a smooth, synthetic fabric.

Would this paint be okay on a dark purple fabric? Or would it be best to add a dark purple paint to a lighter pink coloured fabric. Looking to make a Chester cat costume.

Asked by: Natasha Leek
i used the red version of this paint on a black t-shirt and it showed up really bright so i have to assume this one will too!

Can I use this on a upholstered fabric chair that needs a colour refresh?

Asked by: Daja
Yes you can. ensure that the surface is as clean as you can, and then ensure you add light coats of the paint to avoid a hard crunchy texture when the paint dries. Applying using a sponge can help with this.
