Easy to use
Has detailed instructions to follow on how to use the dye and it gave me a good even colour that survives a machine wash well. Be warned it only works on natural fiber (linen, hemp, cotton etc...) If the item to be dyed has been hemmed with man made thread the stitch lines will remain the original colour.

Very easy to use
Wanted to die some white material for a project I’m doing. Also dyed a white top of mine. It was extremely easy to use. Did the whole process in my stainless steel sink and did not stain at all. Very strong colour and dried beautifully and evenly.

Handy size fabric hand dye.
The olive green Dylon hand dye has come up with a good strong colour like that shown on the packet. I dyed some cotton canvas fabric to make a bag. It took the dye well. I gave it an extra rinse and put it through a machine wash. The washing machine did not get stained. I actually used a lot more than the recommended weight of material and the depth of colour was not affected.

Great colour but don't mix types
I used this dye to colour my cotton/linen sofa and it worked very well, however, after using the hand colour to dye the arm cover as a test, I bought the machine dye to do the cushions. The shades are not the same... I weighed the fabric carefully and can only conclude that there is a slight difference between machine & hand dye so I recommend using just one type.

This product is great
First time I have ever dyed something. I was not looking forward to it. But I was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to use. And the end result was amazing. So I couldn’t wait to go and get myself some more colours. It has helped so much bringing new life back into my clothes.

Easy to use, and no mess!
Although the pictures of the photograph looked amazing, I was unfortunately unable to appreciate these as my clothing contained polyester, and the results were too faint to see. However, I am determined to try this again on other materials. It was so, so simple to use, and left virtually no mess (other than two green thumbs from a leak in my gloves!)

Simple to use
Priced at £3.50 on the shelf and £3.00 at the till.
Easy to follow instructions but the dye did not take that well on the garment I was trying to rescue, man made fibres, which I've learnt for next time but it really worked well on a fafed cotton cap making it look almost new. Will be making another purchase to liven up a faded linen shirt.
