Absolutely appalling, very thin cardboard, box was way too thin, I definitely would never buy Hobbycraft cake boxes ever again, Poundland are much better than Hobbycraft cake boxes and a fraction of the price, I felt that I’d been robbed blind, absolutely disgusting!!!

Cheap, flimsy, not fit for purpose. Do not buy.
Bought in a hurry due to unexpected need for a bigger board and box. Generally I trust Hobbycraft own brand items so thought this would be ok.
It wasn't.
The "card" is more like a heavy gauge paper. The tabs tore as I gently inserted them into their slots. And when I put the lid on then went to lift the cake it was so floppy I was worried it would flex in transit and dent the cake. It certainly wasn't designed for the weight of cake you put on a 16in drum. And this was on a square drum - if the cake had been on a round drum it would be a nightmare to carry.
It went straight into the recycling and I won't be risking buying any Hobbycraft cake boxes in the future, it's safer and better value to get a Culpit box from my usual supplier and pay for next day delivery which comes to more than the price of the useless Hobbycraft box. Sorry Hobbycraft, you failed me this time.

Do not buy
White cake box rubbish. Very flimsy, pointed this out to a member of staff but was told, once the cake was in the box the cake board would firm it up but quite the opposite, the cake box sides buckled. The card quality should have been better. Expensive.

Awful
The worst cake box I have ever bought. So flimsy and doesn’t even fit together well, the card is so thin that it tears when you’re slotting it in to place.

Not sturdy enough
These boxes are too flimsy and not good quality at all. The cardboard is too thin and doesn’t hold a heavy cake very well

Flimsy cake box
Very flimsy more like paper than card, not capable of taking the weight of the cake. Definitely won't buy again.

They are very flimsy and the lids came off in the wind but kept the dust etc off the cake
