Perfect for anything macrame
Perfect for macrame. I use these dowels for EVERY smaller wall hanging I create, along with the return of the Mac wool. They are the perfect size and texture, and create the perfect over all look. I also use them for hanging planters for a more wall hanging style, and again find them ideal. Would highly recommend!

The length is of these are perfect for most YouTube wall hanging tutorials to follow. They’re a solid dowel that really looks the part. And good value for money.

Pair of down rods for wall hangings
Although I have not used these recently purchased dowel rods yet they seem fine for the intended purpose. I bought them because they were on offer. I believe the more recent packs I saw in store are subject to a price increase.

Great for macrame!
I'm currently using these to hang Macrame and they are great! Especially for the price. Started out just hanging colourful wool on them and then cutting the ends diagonally. Looks really nice and a really simple wall hanging!

Perfect for my macrame!
These are great for macrame, they have a smooth finish are as easy to work with and don't snag the cotton yarn. I cut mine in half and they were a great purch for my owl macrame hanging.

Good quality item
I bought these wooden dowels to hang macrame from and they are excellent quality. Wood is beautifully smooth and colour is not too strong to take away from the thread I am using.

I bought these rods not for macrame but as a wooden rail for a children's mobile I am making. They're are excellent even though they were not intended for this purpose.

This is the only high street shop that I’m able to get wooden dowels from and the price is fantastic as well I bought theses for my parrot as it’s safe for him
