Don't waste your money
Got this as a gift and all it contains is around 100m of cotton cord (which you can get for £6 elsewhere) and some unclear instructions which I've had to substitute with youtube tutorials. You have to buy your own stick or find one from outside and it doesn't even tell you how long it has to be. Because the instructions are so confusing I'd rather follow a different tutorial to make something else but because the cord is all pre-cut for this particular design I can't even do that. Only gets one star for the box.

Great Box, a Bit Misleading at First
For such a large box, the contents are a bit misleading! The box includes almost everything you need to get started - just not the wood to start your macramé piece on. The box is nice and big, but 75% of it is empty space, designed to make you think you're getting more.
Overall, it's a great kit - the instructions are detailed, the rope comes pre-cut and organised. The box could just be half the size, and maybe a mention that you need to grab a few wooden dowels to get started on.

Just a box of string
Don’t buy it. I was so excited to get home and try something different. I opened the box to multiple packed bags of string… thought to myself maybe there’s something underneath the cardboard in the rest of the box and nothing. £32 for a large box of empty space and some string. No dowel or wood included. That is not a kit. It’s false advertisement. I want a refund.

Don't bother ,save your money !!!!
Got this as a gift if i had receipt it would go back !!!! Absolutely disgusting £32 for string !!!! The one star is for box im going to try and return as Absolutely shocking !!!!!

Frustrating but lovely
Got this on a whim to try something new (I crochet mostly) and was disappointed to discover that there was no wooden dowel in the kit which meant I couldn't get started straight away. I agree with the other reviews that it's not easy for a beginner to pick up. I couldn't order a dowel as the instructions don't give an indication of what size you need or what size the finished piece would be to guess.
I contacted customer service who were able to contact the designer and get the information I needed, which I'm surprised haven't been added to the description as I would be more likely to buy if that was available.
Macrame craft piece:
35 cm wide
Branch used in photo:
48cm wide
So, a branch/stick that is between 45-50cm wide should suffice!
I was able to get started after I had this information, but in the meantime had tried a few other kits I got elsewhere. I don't think I'd have been able to start this one with the limited instructions included without trying others first.
Although a bit frustrated, I can't wait to get it finished and displayed!

Disappointed customer
The box is the best thing about this. It has lots of empty space and packaging. Instructions are limited and far too small. Most kits i have purchased have links to videos showing techniques. I will not be visiting again

I was a little disappointed not for the article but the instructions were a little confusing so handed over to the daughter I think she will get it done within the next couple of months.

Difficult to do but high quality
Loved this, high quality material but it is on the pricey side. I would say that the instructions are hard to follow. So maybe not a beginners macramé. Still made a lovely project.
