Makes a excellent memory box!
Bought the box last week and I'm planning on turning it into a angel-themed box so I can have it as a guardian angel memory box.
This box is great as a memory box or a special things box or even a prayer box and it makes a excellent present for a loved one for any event (birthdays,christmas etc) and you can even put a favourite photo of your loved one on the lid as well.
I would definitely recommend it from Hobbycraft!

Nice Box
This box is nicely made, it has a magnetic catch so the lid fits so flush that it makes the box look solid. The only part that is not quite so good is the plastic photo/picture cover on the lid, very flimsy and mine was scratched, I am going to laminate a photo for the front so that is not a problem for me, there is a back panel with clips to hold the photo in place. Good value, would buy again.

Wonderful sturdy durable box
This box was wonderful! It’s very easy to decorate and is very sturdy and durable for many an activity.
We painted and decorated our box. The paint took so well and the handy window is beautiful to place photos in.

Brilliant, just what I needed
I stepped Into the shop and realised just how much I had missed my hobbycraft bits and bits and browsing!
The amount of stock was brilliant and the wooden box I picked up on sale for £3 which was brilliant as money isn’t great at the minute and it is one of the birthday presents for my mum next month, I have painted it with the paints I also bought, which are fab for the price! And am planning on putting a handmade pair of earrings in them for her.

Great box
I bought 5 of these boxes, one of them had a small defect with the magnet that keeps them shut (it was just pushed too far into the wood) so I pulled it out and fixed it with a drop of hot glue.
Other than that it’s a fantastic little craft box that can be customized any way you’d like!

Lovely personal present win!
Sturdy little box with magnetic closing. Photo is held in place with a plastic sheet rather than glass. Lovely personal touch with the ability to add a photo/drawing or print as a present idea or just for keeps. I pinned a wooden heart ontop with twine and used my pyrography pen (both also from hobbycraft) to burn a personalised message for the recipient too. Nice to fill with tissue paper and small gifts/sweets

I bought 6 wooden photo boxes. I intend to use them as gift boxes as a present for our bridesmaids. I've put in photos of each of them and I together and they look absolutely fantastic! I also have a wood burner which I've burned their names into them. They are beautiful boxes and perfect for this purpose! I will definately be recommending them to anyone for the idea.
