Attempted to cut twice on cricut, this vinyl is awful. First the cut didn't go all the way through, even though it was on the right setting. Then, on the second try with a harder pressure cut, when weeding, the vinyl seperates, with the holographic foil staying stuck to the clear film as you try to peel it off. The material also rips when trying to weed if you use any pressure (which is necessary as it's very difficult to pull off and doesn't come away easily). The colour and shine of the vinyl is really nice so it's very disappointing. Product also had a bad smell to it, so in a sense, maybe its for the best that I didn't get around to applying any heat to it.

This is honestly the WORST iron on vinyl I have ever bought. I have wasted the entire roll trying to work out what setting to cut this on on my Cricut. The fact that it says "artisan approved" on the packaging is an absolute joke because there is no way an artisan has successfully cut this vinyl. AWFUL. I even saw a review that said to cut it on poster board... that just cut all the way through and took so much effort to get it off my mat. I have never been SO disappointed by something I've bought from Hobbycraft.

Cricut setting is poster board!
CRICUT SETTINGS FOR THIS IS DEFINITELY POSTER BOARD!!
Thank you to the review before me who worked it out. I went through a roll of this before I saw the review and so glad I eventually found what setting to use. To say it’s been artist approved is wrong and cutting settings should be written on the products.

Excellent dupe for other digital cutting brands!!
Was keen to try Hobbycraft’s own range as soon as I could, and was more than pleasantly surprised by the quality and ease of use. It cuts great, weeds so easily, and the heat press instructions are spot on. Very pleased and would recommend for small-run projects!

Nice and easy to cut and apply.
To make this product better it would be great if it included some kind of detail of what to set the crochet machine to or other vinyl cutters.

Dodgy roll?
The holographic foil snaps and cracks so the holograph doesn’t transfer. Ended up with a patchy white and partly holographic print.
