Warps and baggy canvas
I had to return and swap â…” of the canvases I bought because they were heavily warped. With three corners against a flat surface there was an inch of space lifted on both. I am aware that large canvas stretchers are liable to warp but it was a big gap on both, and the remaining stock in the shop had similar issues with (luckily) only a couple with minimal warps. The corner pegs also didn't fit the gaps to tighten the fabric so all three of my paintings are likely to sag.
