Love this machine!
Totally new to Cricut but had been looking at it and so when a good deal came up I went for it.
Staff were really great in store, answering my questions and helping me understand how it worked and what it could do and helped me get it to my car. The deal included a free heat press which was brilliant!
Getting started I found the videos within Design Space, which is a free app, really helpful. I have made heat pressed vinyl motifs for bags and t shirts, key ring designs, stickers and a birthday card so far. Each time I learn a new thing I feel really accomplished and positive too!
It comes with a decent amount of material to get started also.

Productivity and aesthetics is everything
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For a paper crafter like me, who relies heavily on mat-based cuts, the Cricut Explore 4 has been a genuine time-saver. 2x speed increase is fantastic upgrade. I've found that the time I used to spend waiting for cuts to finish has been significantly reduced, which is crucial when productivity is a priority. It's truly been a game-changer.
Beyond the speed, I have to mention the aesthetic. The seashell colour is simply gorgeous, happy to have on my desk permanently. It adds a touch of elegance to my crafting space.
Of course, the core functionality from Cricut is still there. I can still create all the projects I love, but now, I can do them twice as fast. It’s a seamless blend of efficiency and aesthetics, making it a very welcome addition to my craft room

Endless Opportunities!
I've seen the Cricut pop up a few times and bit the bullet and made the investment - I regret nothing! I intend to use it for wedding crafting to save some monies and for a small business. I've already created a birthday card, used the Cricut to write inside it and used the Heat Press that came part of the bundle to create a tote for a birthday. Super excited make more projects!

Drawbacks
Everything seems to be fast cut which is great but when you have intricate cuts to do i have to revert back to my explore 2

Good Upgrade
Good machine upgraded from my Cricut Joy - much faster - only issue the machine would not work through USB - eventually a new cable was sent - it is working but sometimes it stops

How does it work with an iPad pro ? How does it compare with a windows laptop?
The design space layout is slightly different and better memory would allow from more complex designs to be made, as I personally find that on the ipad air some more complex designs struggle to load. Connectivity wise I have found no difference.

What's the difference between maker 4 and explore 4. Struggling to decide which to buy
The main difference between the 2 machines is the materials that can be used with the machines. The Explore is great if looking to cut things like vinyl's and card stock. if looking to cut thicker materials such as thin balsa wood or fabrics the Maker is better suited as you can buy different blade accessories that allow a wider range of materials to be cut.
