Luxurious threads for your embroidery.
Once again dmc saved the day. I needed 'just a bit more' of a thread I'd used from my stash of embroidery silks, to hand quilt the back of my quilt. I was able to pop along to my local craft store and match it from their extensive range.
I have loved using dmc threads for all my cross stitch projects for years. I've now found a new use for them as I have taken up quilting - they are a wonderful thread and come in such a wide range of colours I always manage to find something to match / compliment my fabrics.
The fact that you can split the skins to use 1, 2 or 3 threads together also gives wide scope in the textures you can achieve.
I love them so much I've invested in a dmc thread chart - it shows all the threads, (with actual thread not a picture) and the code number. This is great when planning your own projects.
