I'm very grateful to have a stockist of DMC nearby to me. I have a lot of 'hand-me-down' threads that I use in my projects, however I'm always running out of white's and blacks. I'm glad that I can pop into Hobbycraft and stock up whenever I need.
I am currently looking for a more sustainable option when it come's to embroidery threads. However, at the moment, I haven't found anywhere that beats DMC's colour range. Hopefully they will start to implement good changes into their production line to make their manufacture better for the environment and for their workers?

It does as a last resort
I only bought it as I have run out of Anchor stranded cotton number 1 and you were the only shop in Newport and Cardiff selling Anchor. I needed the white before the Autumn knitting and stitching show in October so had to buy!!! I have 4 boxes full of Anchor and don't want to have to swap them all for DMC

DMC - best quality embroidery silk
I have used this product for years and would not hesitate to use it again and again. It's great quality and very versatile and strong - something that the cheaper alternatives sadly lack. Very good value and price

Just what I wanted
I enjoy going to this store as it always has what I want and more the staff are very helpful which is always a bonus.
I go for the dmc thread and my grandson goes for the art, paper pencil ect

Fabulous threads
Purchased two of these skeins for a baby sampler I'm currently working on. You can't beat DMC stranded threads, they are top quality, and this one flows lovely through the 28ct linen. Perfect.

Bright replacement
I had to buy this white as the normal white has not been available in store for the last 10 weeks. I have to finish my product. It is a good white, but it would be nice to get the one needed

Nicer than the standard ‘Blanc’
I’ve never used the B5200 white before this pattern called for it. I much prefer it to the usual Blanc shade of white DMC provides. Much brighter and just looks cleaner.
