Bought as a stocking filler and the recipient has found it very helpful and has been producing very good drawings using the guidlines given. Recommended for the enthusiastic hobby artist or those wishing to perfect their skill at drawing animals. Easy to follow, with the stages well illustrated starting with a simple shape outline such as a circle,oval, square etc eventually leading to a lovely detailled drawing.

Brilliant book for beginners!
This book and others in the series that I have also bought since are just brilliant! The simple concept of how to draw something is inspired! I originally bought one for my grandsons aged 7 & 9 and they have been producing fantastic pictures! But I too have got quite addicted as I am not artistic at all but by following the simple steps in the book I have drawn some pictures that I'm really proud of!!

This book aids by use of diagrams instead of words
I like this book because it uses circles and lines to briefly sketch the body shape of the animals, before doing a more detailed outline. The use of images for each step over words helps the book aid multiple languages. Each step is easy to follow. My only complaint is that there is no explanation about shading. This book is for beginners.

Looks Simple Enough To Follow
Haven’t used it yet, bought one for my 6 year old daughter and one for her friends birthday.
However, having flicked through the pages, the drawing instructions look pretty straightforward, and should be easy enough for a young child to follow. Might even have a go myself as I’m no good at drawing lol

Brilliant 'how to draw' book
I bought this for the 7th birthday of a friend's son and will be buying another for my granddaughter. The wordless illustrations make it easy to draw so many animals - I had a go myself before wrapping it up.
