Ok but a little on the dry side to the point that its more pencil like than pen compared to some other brands
Well made, reliable but a bit dry in terms of mark making. Some other makes feel more liquid in use. This pen leaves a line more akin to a pencil than a pen. This is probably great for very very fine work but for me it does not flow across the paper like some.

Great pen
I always carry a couple of these XS Faber Castell pens in my pencil case. They last so long and are such great quality. I work relatively detailed and usually on a small scale so these pens are absolutely perfect for me, especially when capturing minute tonal differences. I can assume it is equally as good for typography. The other sizes in the range are just as good!

Perfect
This was the pen I've been looking for! It's extremely fine and has worked on all surfaces. It's fine nib is great for details and I've found that the ink dries really quickly which means it doesn't smudge much.

Excellent drawing implement.
Faber-Castell PITT pens are an excellent addition to any artist's drawing equipment. Lines are clear and consistent and colour pigmentation is of the highest standard. Used alongside the Faber-Castell PITT brush pens they can produce art works to a high standard.
