Complete beginner’s thoughts on the kit
This was an excellent purchase! As a complete crochet beginner, i found this kit very useful and helpful. It had all the things i needed, how much i needed, and it came with detailed instructions (i didn’t even need to consult YT like i expected before i bought the kit!) Highly recommended if you’re looking to give crochet a try but don’t know where to start.

Very poor instructions
I have been crocheting 20 years and consider myself to be pretty advanced. This pattern makes absolutely no sense to me. I cannot complete it as it simply doesn’t work. The other reviewer who says they are a complete beginner and found it easy….? They must have had different instructions to me.
The only redeeming feature of this kit is that you get plenty of yarn and a decent hook. I managed the pot - that bit was correct - but the plant part is definitely wrong.
In the sale, at half price, it means it wasn’t a complete waste of money, but I will have to google another pattern to make the plant.
