Low quality yarn
I am so disappointed in this kit, I bought this as a beginner but the yarn is a nightmare to work with. It untwists and makes the stitches very difficult to hold on to with the hook and they end up splitting so half of a loop ends up in the wrong place and stitches keep slipping off the hook. I’m new to crochet and it has really lowered my confidence. I wish I hadn’t bought it and had looked into patterns online instead. It feels a shame to throw it away and waste the money now I have it though so I will persevere but wouldn’t recommend to anyone else to buy it.

Not beginner friendly, poor quality materials
Bought this as an intro to crocheting, but instructions are unclear and the yarn is poor quality (splits) which makes it difficult as a beginner project.
Concept I'm sure is nice but I'm going to be purchasing different yarn as this is impossible to use as a first timer.
Also I'm now aware there are UK and US terms for stitches, which wasn't really made clear in the pattern.

Yarn keeps splitting which is a bit disappointing. No instructions for chain and completing . May be common sense but new people to crocheting may need instructions.
