8 Christmas Door Wreath Ideas

1. Dried Flower Door Wreath

This was an easy-to-create wreath that I made when I wanted something wild and pink to adorn my baby blue door! I simply tucked and glued in place a number of dried flowers and feathers in a clockwise motion, then hung it with a vivid purple velvet ribbon.

2. Paper Star Wreath

If you love modern, neutral, simplistic Christmas decorations, this paper star wreath is perfect to hang over a mirror, or propped up on a shelf, without all the colourful grandeur that can be associated with the season.

3. Foraged Wreath

This wreath is budget-friendly and completely sustainable. There are so many wonderful things to forage in winter, from dried thistles to holly bush, so this easy-to-make natural wreath is a firm favourite. By covering just the bottom half of the metal hoop, the look is simple and elegant.

4. Traditional Wreath

There is something so charming about a traditional Christmas door wreath. Perfect for period properties or grand homes, traditional wreaths look best with lots of detail. Here, I wrapped cinnamon sticks together using red and white twine and added a number of miniature red bows to the foliage.

5. Paper Foliage Wreath

I find paper cutting incredibly relaxing, so this is a great craft to do to unwind before the big day. This wreath is a great choice to add a touch of seasonal decor into a child's bedroom, and as you can use any colour of card that you like, you can really personalise the palette of leaves!

6. Modern Wreath

Dried flowers are a huge micro trend right now and cotton flowers are the perfect dried flower to use at Christmas due to the snowy-looking cotton sitting in its pod. This wreath is modern and wild and shouldn't look too structured - perfect for the wreath beginner.

7. Green Stag Wreath

Wooden toppers and dried sundries are my 'go-to' items for Christmas decor. You can add them to wrapped gifts, homemade cards and even pop them in a decorative bowl. This wreath is enhanced by the rustic wood shapes which make it really detailed and interesting.

8. Orchid Wreath

This was the first time that I had ever used large, fresh flowers in a Christmas wreath and I loved the look!
