Use the piece of paper as a guide and carefully write out the phrase.

Split letters/words into sections and write them out slowly.

Top Tip: Pause each time you write out a section, making sure you don’t press down on the pen when you stop as it will make a dotted mark, lift your pen instead and then start again.

Wait for the letters/words to dry. If you want to create a modern calligraphy feel to your lettering, fill in and go over your down strokes.

Top Tip: Before you fill in the downstrokes, mimic the writing in the air to work out where the heavy strokes are are in the lettering.
