How to Make a Polaroid Photo Frame

The project can be recreated using any size of frame, perfect if you've got a spare one lying around the house – after a quick lick of paint, it'll be looking as good as new in no time!

How to make

You Will Need

Pliers

A photo frame

Twine

Photos

Scissors

Cardstock

A ruler

A pencil

Double sided tape

Hot glue gun

Stickers (to decorate)

Mini pegs

Step 1

Remove the glass and backing board from the frame and use a pair of pliers to remove the metal tabs that hold the backboard in place. Lay the frame on the floor or any flat surface will do, and position the polaroids inside the frame, working out how many you would like on each twine strand.

Step 2

Depending on the number of photos you'll be using, select the same number of different card and paper stocks. Use a craft knife and metal ruler or scissors to trim the paper to size, leaving a boarder around where the image will go with a larger section at the bottom.

Step 3

Print out your photo, resizing if necessary, and apply to the card with a little double-sided tape.

Decorate each of the snaps using a selection of different embellishments, I used a selection of stickers.

Step 4

Run lengths of twine from the top to the bottom of the wooden frame using a hot glue gun to secure them in place. Once the glue has set, attach each of the polaroids with a wooden peg.
