Melt and Pour White Soap Base 1kg
Tranquility and Ocean Spray Soap Fragrance Oil 20ml
Sea Soap Colours 10ml 3 Pack
Life of the Party Oval Rose Soap Mould
You will also need:
Cut the amount of soap base you want with a knife. 400g will make two medium-size bars depending on the mould.
Slice the soap for quick melting. Place into a glass jug and microwave in 15-second intervals until melted. Don’t overheat it as this will discolour the soap.
Once the soap is melted, pour into your chosen soap moulds. This is when you can add extra ingredients such as drops of colour, fragrance and exfoliants such as lavender and dried petals. Add ingredients as the soap is cooling rather than when it is really hot.
The soap will be easier to remove from the mould if you don’t completely fill the mould. Once set, place in the freezer for 20 minutes to make removal easier.
Finished soaps should be wrapped if kept for long periods. They can attract moisture from the air or dry out, losing fragrance and colour. Melt & Pour soaps should suit all skin types but, if you have an adverse reaction, rinse with lots of water and stop use.
