How to make

You Will Also Need
A Collection of Flowers to Press
Glass Frame
Blotting Paper and Stack of Books (if not using a flower press)
Iron (optional)

Step 1

Get your flowers ready to press, remember flat headed flowers work best for pressing and will achieve the best results.

Step 2

Press your flowers by placing the floral heads and stems onto a piece of blotting paper, (if using a flower press, the paper will be included) making sure they have enough room to flatten around them. Add a piece of blotting paper ontop and place in the flower press or under a stack of books for around 5 weeks. (You can alternatively press a low heated iron onto the paper to speed up the process and create pressed flowers in an afternoon, you'll need to make sure you don't push the iron across the paper as it will tear the petals just press and lift across the paper for the desired effect.

Step 3

Using the glue stick place the flowers in the frame in their desired places securing them with the glue.

Step 4

Add your lettering using the posca paint pens, elongate your letters for a faux calligraphy look and you can always thicken up strokes by colouring them in to create a faux brush lettering style if you wanted.
