You Will Need
* Knitcraft It's Only Natural Light DK Yarn 50g - Blue, Cornflower, Sage, Yellow, Peach, Pink, Cream
* Knitcraft Tiny Friends Yarn 25g - Black, Dark Brown, Green, Lime
* 3.5mm Crochet Hook
* 40cm Rattan Wreath
* Toy Stuffing
* Toy Safety Eyes
* Yarn Needle
* Glue Gun and Glue Sticks

Abbreviations
*...* rep - repeat from * to *
[...] - Make the stitches stated all in same stitch of previous row/round

Special Stitches
Picot - ch3, slst into 1st ch
Loop st - insert hook into stitch, wrap yarn around index finger, holding yarn at the desired loop length, wrap hook over the yarn closest to it and then under the yarn on the other side of your finger to pull up a loop. Yarn over and pull through both loops.

 

Cat

Head
Using Peach and 3.5mm hook, make a MC.
Rnd 1: 6dc (6dc)
Rnd 2: 2dc into each st (12dc)
Rnd 3: *dc, 2dc in next st* rep around (18dc)
Rnd 4: *2dc, 2dc in next st* rep around (24dc)
Rnd 5: *3dc, 2dc in next st* rep around (30dc)
Rnd 6 - 11: Dc around (30dc)
Insert safety eyes between Rnd 8 and Rnd 9, 6sts apart.
Rnd 12: *3dc, dc2tog* rep around (24dc)
Rnd 13: *2dc, dc2tog* rep around (18dc)
Begin stuffing the head with toy stuffing.
Rnd 14: *dc, dc2tog* rep around (12dc)
Rnd 15: dc2tog rep around (6dc)
Fasten off, leaving a long tail to sew to the body.


Ears (make 2)
Using Peach, make a MC.
Rnd 1: 3dc (3dc)
Rnd 2: 2dc into each st (6dc)
Rnd 3: Dc around (6dc)
Rnd 4: *dc, 2dc in next st* rep around (9dc)
Rnd 5: *2dc, 2dc in next st* rep around (12dc)
Fasten off, leaving a long tail to sew to the head.
Position the bunny ears between Rnd 3 and 9 on the top of the head and sew in to place.


Body
Using Peach, make a MC.
Rnd 1: 6dc (6dc)
Rnd 2: 2dc into each st (12dc)
Rnd 3: *dc, 2dc in next st* rep around (18dc)
Rnd 4: *2dc, 2dc in next st* rep around (24dc)
Rnd 5: *3dc, 2dc in next st* rep around (30dc)

Rnd 7: *5dc, 2dc in next st* rep around (42dc)
Rnd 8 - 12: Dc around (30dc)

Begin stuffing the body with toy stuffing.

Arms and Legs (make 4)
Using Peach, make a MC.
Rnd 1: 6dc (6dc)
Rnd 2: 2dc into each st (12dc)
Rnd 3 - 7: Dc around (12dc)
Rnd 8: *2dc, dc2tog* rep around (9dc)
Rnd 9 - 18: Dc around (9dc)
Lightly stuff.
Fasten off leaving a tong tail, position on the side of the for the arms & bottom of the body for the legs, sew in place.


Tail
Using Peach, make a MC.
Rnd 1: 6dc (6dc)
Rnd 2 - 20: Dc around (6dc)
Fasten off, leaving a long tail to sew to the back of the cat's body.
Using Black, embroider a simple face.

Hammock

Using Pink, ch63
Row 1: tr in 3rd ch from hook, tr in each st to the end.
***Fasten off pink, attach blue.
R2: Ch3, 1tr in each st to the end. (60tr)
Fasten off blue, attach yellow.
R3: Repeat R2.
Fasten off yellow, attach cornflower.
R4: Repeat R2.
Fasten off cornflower, attach pink.
R5: Repeat R2.
Repeat from *** twice more
Fasten off pink, attach blue.
R15: Repeat R2.
Fasten off blue and sew in ends.
Fold over the two short sides of the hammock by 1cm and stitch a tunnel for the cords to run through.


Cord (make 2)
Using Cream, ch until you have 40cm in length.
Fasten off and sew in the ends. Thread the cords through the tunnels in the hammock and tie to your wreath.

Sunflowers

Centre (make 4 small and 2 large)
Using Dark Brown, make a MC.
Rnd 1: 6dc (6dc)
Rnd 2: 2dc into each st (12dc)
Rnd 3: *dc, 2dc in next st* rep around (18dc)
Rnd 4: *2dc, 2dc in next st* rep around (24dc)
Rnd 5: *3dc, 2dc in next st* rep around (30dc)
Fasten off here for the small flower.
Rnd 6: *4dc, 2dc in next st* rep around (36dc)
Rnd 7: *5dc, 2dc in next st* rep around (42dc)
Place two sunflower centres on top of each other with WS facing. Insert hook through a st on both centres and pull up a loop. ch1 and dc around, stitching through both centres on each st. Before you dc shut, lightly stuff.

Petals
Using Yellow, join yarn in any st.
Rnd 8: * [dc, htr, tr, dtr, Picot] in 1st st, [dtr, tr, htr, dc] in next st, slst in next st* rep around (7 times for large flower, 5 times for small flower.) You will have 14 petals for the large flower and 10 petals for the small flower.

Sunflower Leaves

(Make 6)
Using Green, make a MC.
R1: Ch3 (counts as 1st tr), 11tr in MC, slst in 3rd ch of beg ch. (12tr)
R2: Ch2, (does not count as tr) , *2dc in next st* 3 times, [2dtr], [dtr, Picot, dtr], [2dtr], [tr, htr, slst], slst, [slst, htr, tr], slst in the 1st ch of beg ch.
Fasten off & sew in the ends.

Poppies

Centre (make 2)
Using Dark Brown, make a MC.
Rnd 1: 6dc (6dc)
Rnd 2: Ch1, turn (WS), work 2x dc loop st in each st around (12 dc loop st)
Fasten off, leaving a long tail.

Petals (make 11)
Using Pink, make a MC.
Rnd 1: 6dc (6dc)
Rnd 2: 2dc into each st (12dc)
Rnd 3: *dc, 2dc in next st* rep around (18dc)
Rnd 4: *2dc, 2dc in next st* rep around (24dc)
Rnd 5: *3dc, 2dc in next st* rep around (30dc)
Fasten off and sew in the ends.


Buds (make 3)
Using Lime, make a MC.
Rnd 1: 6dc (6dc)
Rnd 2: *dc, 2dc in next st* rep around (9dc)
Rnd 3: Dc around (9dc)
Rnd 4: *2dc, 2dc in next st* rep around (12dc)
Rnd 5 - 6: Dc around (12dc)
Fasten off and sew in the ends.

Making Up
Lay four petals on top of one another, using the image as a guide, and sew in place. Lay a poppy centre on top and sew in place. Repeat with the second poppy centre.
Roll one petal into a sausage shape and glue inside one of the buds. Repeat with the other two buds.

Poppy Leaves

(Make 3)
Using Lime, ch16
Rnd 1: dc in 2nd ch from hook, dc, 2htr, 2tr, 3dtr, 2tr, 2htr, dc, 3dc in the last st. Now work down the other side of the ch: dc, 2htr, 2tr, 3dtr, 2tr, 2htr, dc, 2dc in last st. Slst to join.
Rnd 2: Work a Picot in each st around the leaf.
Fasten off and sew in the ends.

Forget Me Not

(make 4 in blue and 2 in cornflour)
Using Yellow, make a MC.
R1: 6dc in MC, slst in the next st and fasten off. (6dc)
Join Blue/Cornflower to any st.
R2: *Slst, ch3, dtr, dtr, ch3, slst* 2 times, slst, *slst, ch2, tr, tr, htr* 2 times, slst, slst in the 1st ch of beg ch.

Bumblebee

Body (make 2)
Using Yellow, make a MC.
R1: 6dc (6dc)
Change to Black (there's no need to fasten off after each row as you will be switching back and forth)
R2: *dc, 2dc in next st* rep around (9dc)
Change to Yellow
R3: Dc around (9dc)
Change to Black
R4: Dc around (9dc)
Change to Yellow
R5: *dc, dc2tog* rep around (6dc)
Lightly stuff, fasten off both colours and sew shut.

Wings (make 4)
Using Cream, make a MC.
R1: 6dc (6dc)
R2: 2dc in first 3 sts
Fasten off and sew to the top of the bee.

Daisies

(Make 3)
Using Yellow, make a MC.
Rnd 1: 6dc (6dc)
Rnd 2: 2dc into each st (12dc)
Fasten off.
Join cream in any st.
Rnd 3: * ch8, htr in 3rd ch from hook, htr in the next 5sts (6htr), slst in the next 2sts* rep 5 more times (6 petals)
Fasten off and sew in the ends.

Loopy Grass

Using Sage, ch31.
Row 1: dc in 2nd ch from hook, dc in each st to the end (30dc)
R2: (WS) ch2 (does not count as tr), work a tr loop stitch in each st to the end (30 tr loop st)
R3: (RS) ch2 (does not count as tr), tr in each st to the end (30tr)
Repeat R2 - 3, 14 more times.
R32: Repeat R1 (30dc)
Fasten off, leaving a long tail to sew the two long edges together. The grass patch should measure approximately 34cm x 16cm.
Place the grass in the correct position and wrap around the wreath. Thread a yarn needle onto the yarn tail and whip stitch along the length to secure in place.

Making Up

Now you are ready to glue all the parts to your wreath.
Use the images for placement.
