Create a personalised treat jar just for Dad! Peanut butter cups, chocolate buttons or strawberry laces – whatever sweet treats are the way to your dad's heart can be stored inside the fun jar.

Easy to make in minutes, this is the speediest, tastiest Father's Day project there is! A little monster gift tag is added for a personalised touch – and it may also give a little nudge as to who they could share the contents with!

How to make

Step 1

Ensure the jar is clean and dry and apply the stickers to make you message of choice on the front of the jar.

Step 2

To make a cheeky monster tag, take your tags and get your child to scribble a rough shape on it for the monster, then glue on some googly eyes and draw on the mouth and arms and legs.

Step 3

Remove the string and add a message. Cut some ribbon (enough to wrap around and tie around the top of the jar) and then fold it in half.

Thread the folded end through the hole in the gift tag and pull through until you have a loop big enough to pull the ends through.

Step 4

Tie the ribbon around the top of the jar to finish.
