Step 1

Stick washi tape on the cardboard tubes to create stripes in all different directions on all of the candles.

Step 2

Apply some paint to the plain areas of the taller brown cardboard tube, and then apply some gems to each tube.

Step 3

You need to make a little 'hammock' for the LED tealight to sit in. So, take a piece of washi tape and stick a piece across the top of the cardboard tube, ensure you have enough slack on it so that you can push in the tealight, and so it doesn't overhang the cardboard tube.

Step 4

Place in the tea light, it should fit in snugly. You can now easily take out the tealight to switch it on or off.

Step 5

Line up all the tubes with the tallest in the middle to finish.

Top Tip: If you wanted to ensure that your candles all stay together you could attach them to one another using glue dots/hot glue or double-sided tape.
