How to make

Step 1

Use the template provided to draw a shamrock onto green card. Cut the middle of the shamrock out with a border that is about 1cm thick.

Step 2

For the shamrock-filled suncatcher cut out shamrocks in a few different sizes from different shades of green tissue paper. For the rainbow version, cut small squares of different colours.

Step 3

Cut a piece of sticky-back plastic slightly larger than your shamrock frame. Peel the backing off the plastic and stick the frame down. Then fill the inside of the frame with the pieces of tissue paper, making sure there are no gaps. You can overlap your pieces of tissue paper for a nice layered effect.

Step 4

Lay another piece of sticky-backed plastic on top and cut the frame out leaving a slight border of sticky-backed plastic - this ensures it stays firmly stuck together.
