How to Crochet an Amigurumi Unicorn

The final week of Amigurumi April is here and this weeks fantastic project was designed by @beardieandblondiecrafts. 

This cute little unicorn absolutely loves sweet treats, but who can blame her, don’t we all? This Unicorn has taken her love to the next level, by baking herself the biggest donut we have ever seen! After all the love and care she put into her baking, she just couldn’t bear to eat it, so she now proudly displays her work for all to see! Learn to crochet your very own unicorn using the amigurumi technique. Optionally, you may use fewer colours for her tail and mane, or more, customise the perfect unicorn.

On the next round, you will create ‘drips’ of icing using a magic chain.

Finishing: Slst to join. Fasten off, leaving a long tail to sew to donut. Using A, B and E, embroider small sprinkles randomly across the top of the piece.

Assembly 

1.       Sew head to neck.

2.       Sew mane down middle of head and neck.

3.       Sew horn in front of mane on to the head. 

4.       Sew an ear either side of the mane on to the head.

5.       Embroider eyes in I.

6.       Sew cheeks to head near the eyes.

7.       Sew tail to pointed tip at the end of the body.

8.       Sew legs to body.

9.       Sew donut topping onto donut.

10.   Push donut onto body.

11.   Admire!
