Head:

1. Cast on 7 stitches. Knit one row {P1 M1} 6 times. 13 stitches. Knit one row {P1 M1} 12 times P1. 25 sts. Work 3 rows ss. P1 {M1 P3} 8 times. 33 sts. Work 13 rows ss.

2. P3 {M1 P5} 6 times. 39 sts. Knit one row P4 {M1 P5} 7 times. 46 sts. Work 16 rows. K1 {K2 tog K3} 9 times. 37 sts. Work 2 rows.

3. P2 {P2tog P3} 7 times. 30 sts. Work 2 rows. K1 {K2tog K3} 5 times. K2tog. K2. 24 sts. Work two rows. P2. {P2 tog. P3} 4 times P2. 20 sts. {K2tog K3} 4 times. 16 sts.

4. P2tog to end of row. 8 sts. Cast off

Body:

1. Cast on 60sts. St st. for 64cms K5, K2tog to end. Purl one row before going on to row 4″ [K4. K2tog] to end Purl 1 row. Decrease in this way 3 more times Cast off

2. Head: Cast on 7 stitches. Knit 1 row [P1. M1] 6 times. 13 stitches. Knit 1 row. [P1. M1] 12 times P1. 25 sts. Work 3 rows ss. P1 [M1. P3] 8 times. 33 sts. Work 13 rows ss. P3 [M1. P5] 6 times. 39 sts.

Legs:

2. St st. until work measures 8 cms K1. K2tog. Five times. Work 1 row Repeat the last two rows Cast off

Tail:

1. Make1. Cast on 15sts

2. St st. until work measures 8 cms

3. K1. K2tog. 5 times. Work 1 row

4. Repeat the last 2 rows

5.Cast off

Make Up:

1. Put the long right sides together and stitch. Gather one end together tightly, turn and stuff. Close and secure the end. With right sides together stitch the head seams. Leaving a small opening to allow for stuffing, turn to right side.

2. Fix the eyes and nose into place as in the picture. Stuff and close the seam.

3. Cut two ears in felt the same size as the knitted ears. Place right sides together and stitch leaving a small opening at the base of each ear. Turn.

4. Embroider markings for the mouth. Sew the head onto the body. With right sides together, sew the long sides of the legs together, turn and stuff. Stitch on to body bending the legs up to imitate bent legs.

5. With right sides together, stitch the tail together leaving a small opening. Turn and stuff. Close the seam and sew onto the body. Decorate the body with patches of felt and tie a piece of ribbon around the neck to finish.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Cute and perfect for the job I tried this which mostly was very easy to understand for someone that does knit very often until it came to the body it was very confessing and hard to understand had to ask a knitting shop to help but apart from that was very good and turned out amazing
