Tom Daley’s “Make Your Own Crochet Dog” “kit”
Ok, so I’m an experienced crocheter and I don’t believe this kit is suitable for beginners. The yarn included is lovely, the hook however is WAAAY too small to make an amigarumi project. The pattern instructions really should have been proof read first as there’s quite a few mistakes in there and the print is really difficult to read unless you’re fortunate to not live in Wales during the winter. There aren't enough pictures in the pattern to help those who’ve never made an amigarumi project. You’re basically left to guess where to put the safety eyes and I’m not holding out much hope for the sewing up needle. The kit could use with something to cut the yarn at the end of the section you’re working on too. If this wasn’t a present for my daughter's teacher I wouldn’t make it and use the yarn for something else.

Nice little kit, instructions could be better
The instructions are really hard to read because of the colours used. I hope going forward the instructions get printed in more legible colours. Part of the instructions for one of the rows was missing as well, assuming it was a misprint though.
Other than that it’s a lovely little kit, I wouldn’t say it’s for someone who’s never done crochet before though the difficulty level is for a beginner
