A fine kit but gives nothing more than supplies
negatives: this kit requires baseline knowledge of how to cross stitch and gives no instructions on how to do so, so is not suitable for complete beginners. The colours also differ slightly between thread given, the photo on the box, and the grid inside
positives: the kit is colour blind friendly and has symbols as well as the colours on the grid. It gives you plenty of thread to use. I could have triple stranded and had thread left over. it's quick and simple. I have a very baseline knowledge of cross stitch and finished this in 5 hours.

Not suitable for beginners
I purchased the kit thinking it would be suitable for a beginner. It really isn't. You need to have an aida for a start. Also the needle is tiny and impossible to thread. I am terrible at this stuff anyway but if you are a beginner I suggest you go to the kids section and get one of the ones on plastic frames as these are just too hard.
