These wicks are great if they were in a tealight as they burn down extremely quickly. In anything larger than a tealight sized candle they're a complete waste as you only get to use 1/3 of the candle before the wick had all burnt out.

They do as you expect
The only thing I would note is don't be an idiot like me: I didn't expect for the wick to become limp when wet so I lost it inside my mould.
