Incorrect instructions Sirdar pattern
Picked up this lovely pattern to knit shawl collar coat and hat for a great, great nephew. Knitted the back which was coming along lovely. Got to the front and there is a mistake in the pattern when starting to decrease for arm and neck edge. Very disappointing.

A good design
The instructions were quite confusing for someone who is not an experienced knitting. I have been knitting at for over 70 years and have tackled some difficult designs but I had to think carefully about some of the instructions. A less experienced friend who used the same pattern previously had some difficulty understanding and did make mistakes.

Mistake in pattern
Completed the back, perfect. The v neck cardigan has a mistake when decreasing, for the raglan and neck shape on the fronts. There is also a mistake on the sleeve when you are increasing on the first row after the rib. Very disappointed.

Great pattern. Easy to follow.
Very cute and cosy knitting pattern for a child. I like the texture of the ‘basket weave’ pattern and great that there is a matching hat as well. Good value as the sizing is from baby to six years. Easy to follow.

This pattern is easy.
Started knitting this pattern for my grandson and so far very happy with it. Have been looking for a new pattern with raglan sleeves for a while. Always find that they look better!

This pattern is easy to follow and very easy to actually knit. The pattern is simple but the effect looks really nice and looks like it would take a long time to make.
