Great for the price and lovely painting
I bought this a couple of months ago and finally got round to painting it and really enjoyed the process. I already painting and don't normally do paint by numbers, but needed something to keep my mind off stressful situations and it was good for that. I only marked it down one as one of the paint pots was dried out, but thankfully I was able to colour match it by mixing some of my own acrylic paints, so no harm done. Excellent pack, although I did also use my own brushes for detail.

Surprised by how good it looks
First kit I’ve ever used and really surprised by how well it turned out. With some of the lighter colours you need a few layers of paint to cover up the lines and numbers but that just gives the picture a more textured and authentic feel in my view. Found it super relaxing listening to the radio and painting. Great value for the time it has taken. Almost finished in this picture.

Loads of fun and makes a lovely finished product!
Such a fun project, especially because there's no need to mix any colours together!! The paints are nice and opaque so they cover up the numbers on the canvas well. There was even lots of paint left over so I can use them for fun craft projects in the future too.

Hardly the quality of “Tate”
I haven’t yet started on the “blue” fruits but too many of the pots have been dried out: at least 6 out of the 22 I’ve opened so far, including black number 30. Which is a slight problem.
There are other, better, kits than this. I’m using one of those blacks to finish this painting.
Don’t be impressed by the Tate branding!

Detailed, but works.
Nice result in the end. Good quality paints. The Tate sets are the only good paint-by-number sets to buy at Hobbycraft - the other brands (especially the kids’ sets) are of very poor quality.

Took me a very long time to complete but very enjoyable, great colour match and finish. All the paints were wonderful.

2 pots of paint dried
So I was really enjoying painting this but halfway through it, I realised two pots of paint are completely dried up :(
