Good lamp... BUT....
Right as i am unable to contact support for whatever reason im trying it this way..
I am very happy with my lamp, (purchased past sunday). Its a very nice light to work under and does all as advertised! Mounting system is solid so all good..
My only gripe i have is that the lamp turns itself ON after i turn it off?!
It happenes after some time (1 hour, sometimes 2 or more, other less then 10 min). But every time, it turns back on by itself! I have to physically unplug it to stop that from happening and i am sortof worried this could be a short somewhere?!

Good light
I intended to buy a similar but cheaper model, but it was not in stock. This one appears to be well constructed and the mounting bracket is sturdy. Only adjusts to two pre-set levels of light, but they are sufficient. No adjustment to the magnification either but x2 is good enough for what I use it for. The daylight LEDs give good light and enable me to mix colours accurately when real daylight isn't available.

Good product
I am using the light to do lashes, I’m not keen on magnifying glasses but have been told they are necessary in order not to strain eyes so I have tried to use this one. But mainly `I just use it for the light. The light is decent and is very good when taking pictures. The long arm is perfect and reaches over clients much better than other lights I have used.

I have found my dream lamp
After many attempts this is the map for me. I am a header with very small beads and this one knocks the rest in to a cocked hat.
Versatile, reasonably priced, good lighting, way to use and fits brilliantly in my work space.

We had to take ours back wanted a free standing lamp was advised it was when opened it revealed that it had to be clamped to a piece of furniture to prevent it falling over

Hi, Can anyone tell me if you think this magnifier would be able to be correctly angled if it was clipped to the side of a wheelchair? or What is the maximum thickness it can be clipped to if I tried attaching it to the arm of the wheelchair? Thanks
Hello Betty. This will certainly clip to any straight surface. It has a mechanism that screws on itself accomodating any flat edge on furniture and it can tighten quite safely.
Furthermore I will highly recommend the lamp, I am very happy with it.
If you don't mind me adding, I don't know your circumstances but as I have some experience with whilchairs because of my father in law, I,would recommend that you don't clip it on the wheelchair as I am not sure where you can find good purchase as rails most of the time are padded. Also the way the lamp folds may not lent itself to place it in the right focus, lastly as this is corded it will probably be a faff to setup every time.
I would suggest that you secure it to a piece of furniture next to where the wheelchair will normally stand during whatever hobby you enjoy.
