Women's Institute yarn
I love this Women's Institute yarn. It's a genuine DK thickness and knits up easily without splitting or knots. The colour range is good, for example there are many shades of blue and I chose the denim shade. I removed a star because the balls of yarn on display were from several different dye lots which is a problem if using for one garment or project. It took me a good few minutes to find enough balls from the same dye lot. The lady at the till was helpful and asked if I'd checked the dye lots. I would have been peeved though if I had only discovered the problem at the till.

Excellent quality - great price
I have recently taken up knitting again after many years and decided to try something small rather than laying out forty or more pounds to knit a jumper for myself and finding it too difficult due to arthritis. I was really pleased to find this brand of yarn which is very good quality and yet at a reasonable price. My first attempt was a small teddy bear.

Bit disappointed actually. Just started on second ball of the 10 purchased. Have already had 4 joining knots in approximately 10 rows. Not really up to usual quality expected from this brand. Hope it is just a rogue ball.

Soft light brown yarn.
I needed some beige yarn to knit a small toy dog for a friend. This was the best shade I could find, although I will need to knit it double as the pattern requires Aran yarn.
