Good colour from them, but obviously think of what you're doing because size wise you may need to buy separate tubes of certain colours.

Good for intended purpose
Im a model painter and was curious as to how well these would work, they are decent thivk paints that go a long way when used properly. Unfortunately there is a point when it doesnt water down further but thats not an issue.

Great selection
Lots of colour variations in one handy pack! Useful for projects were you want several colours but may want colours that you don't use very often, hence a small tube is enough.

Very thin, unmovable and generally unworkable
I’d started a painting on mixed media paper (cartridge) with old acrylics I had from Royal Langnicklel and a few hobby craft’s own acrylic’s and gouache (using hobby craft’s paints mostly mostly). I quickly ran out of the paints I had, and made a trip in store for more in order to finish my painting. In fear of using a different branded paints and this being obvious on my painting, I picked this set up, not realising the price.
The consistency and build ability is very poor. It’s nothing like the paints I’d purchased from hobby craft previously. It’s thin and impossible to mix and build upon - every time I try the previous layers of paint come through. I’m no expert, but I’m no stranger to acrylic paints and have never had this issue before. This might not be so much of an issue depending on what you’re painting, but when painting fruits, which require lots of dimension - this is a real bug bare. 😅
I can only think the formula has changed since I last purchased these (maybe a year ago?). The formula has also allegedly changed for royal langnickel too… So at a loss on where to get new paints for the current painting. Wasted money..
