The Airfix English Electric Lightning F2A Model Kit is the perfect addition to your Airfix model collection.

Introduced in 1962, the F2 was much modified in 1968, producing the F2A, the final British Lightning. The upgraded F2 featured a square cut fin, kinked leading edges and an enlarged ventral tank, which gave an enhanced combat air patrol time of some two hours.

The model kit features sprues and decals, with 92 parts included. The aircraft will be a great choice for your WWII range, capturing the F2A in authentic detail.

Does the kit include everything needed to make the finished product? Paints, glue etc?

No, it tells you on the box all the additional paints etc you will need. I bought this as a gift for someone and spent ££'s more making sure they had enough to make it fully. However, if someone was doing these regularly then you'd probably have some colours already.
