The Airfix Gloster Meteor F.8/FR.9 Model Kit is a great choice for any model collection.

Historically positioned as Britain's first jet-powered fighter to enter service, the Gloster Meteor played a significant role in the air defence of the nation for well over a decade, with the redesigned F.8 becoming the definitive and most heavily produced variant. It was further developed into the armed reconnaissance FR.9, Meteors which served mainly overseas.

The model kit captures this aircraft in 1:72 scale, perfect for model collectors who love aviation history. With two scheme options, it’s made up of 154 parts and recreates the Gloster Meteor in authentic detail.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Nick99 from Defective product: returned for refund. Potentially excellent kit but one half of the fuselage was incompletely moulded, making it impossible to complete. Airfix declined to be of any help whatsoever, Fortunately I still had my receipt and Hobbycraft gave me a full refund without quibble. If you must buy Airfix, keep your receipt and check your purchase as soon as you get home. Full marks to Hobbycraft, though.
