Strong balsa sheet.
Really good quality product. I was using a very sharp Stanley knife and found it very difficult to cut - especially when trying to cut against the grain. However, once cut, even a 6mm wide strip is strong and stable with no splintering.

Over priced - but required
Balsa is balsa .. but I feel Hoobycraft are slightly "overpriced" on this product. I needed to purchase this item for a project. - I had no other options ..

Are the balsa wood lengths available in store or only available to order online?
I purchased the balsa wood in store. They normally have a good selection, but not necessarily their whole range all the time. You can check store stock levels on line by specifying the store you normally shop at when searching.
