Basswood pack review
The wood itself is ok and easily worked however each piece has I sticky label on it which do not come off easily. Removing from the thinner and softer pieces leaves residue and some damage to the surface.

A useful variety of sizes for various carvings
This is a vary handy pack of various sizes and thicknesses of wood, that can be worked on easily for a variety of purposes. I particularly wanted it for restoring some caved swags of foliage and flowers, and the variety of sizes was perfect.

NOT BALSA!
I bought this item thinking I was buying balsa wood. It's not balsa, it's basewood! Totally different from balsa and should be renamed as such.

Probably better with Soy wax - if you can get any.
Doesn't work very well with vegetable oil based wax. But since there are supply issues it is not currently possible to actually buy the individual items required.
