Brought this material for a sewing project for Easter I made some Easter Bunnies doll for my granddaughters, good quality calico fabric, when using on the sewing machine very easy to work with, I would recommend this product to a friend, would use Hobbycraft every time for different products , great value and quality

Excellent quality
Bought this calico to make a banner (appliqué) - lovely quality, ironed fairly well. Love the double width. Nice weight. Would certainly purchase again, price was suitable too.

Easy to handle
The calico was easy to sew with and had a lovely drape which meant it worked with my project. The pricing was very good and you definitely get your value for money.

Did the job perfectly
I needed a simple fabric to paint on and make a parrot costume for my son. This worked perfectly as it hold the spray paint and dry quickly.

Perfect for lining
Excellent. Used as lining for new Harris Tweed seat. No stretch and easy to sew. Also ok with upholstery stapling.

Is this Calico fire retardant. I need it to reupholster sofa cushions.
Please note that this fabric has not been treated with any fire retardant chemicals and therefore would not be suitable to reupholster soft furnishings.
