Hammering fun
Loved this and will be doing more of these nail art kits, my only advice would be to do one bird befor nailing the nails in for the next one, so it stops the thread catching on other nails.

This was a good kit but it needed to be done in the right environment and I don’t think many people have all the correct tools like clamps and other things

Not for beginners
Nails are too long and flimsy for a novice crafter. The nails need to be shorter or the wood thicker so they can be hammered in further to stop them bending. The picture is lovely but less birds should be offered on template if not experienced

A bit fiddly
Overall the product is ok. The instructions are a bit vague and as a complete beginner that has never done string art before, I felt I needed a bit more guidance.
The nails kept coming loose and falling out, no matter how far I hammered them in. This made the strings far messier than desired, and very frustrating.
Finished product looks ok, but could have been better if nails stayed in place.

LOVE IT !!
I absolutely love this product !! Such a great time filler and activity, I have mine hung up in my room and it looks amazing ! Great quality tools and lovely textured wood and great quality embroidery thread . I even had some thread left over which was a great stash for bracelet making . Thank you Hobbycraft !

Birds
I'm currently off work with stress, thought this would help, never been so stressed out with this. Had to get my husband to bang all the nails in. I did the rest but the thread kept falling apart, really hard to tie the ends at the end. Looks good but really hard work.
