How do you set the fabric paint so the items can be washed
Let it dry for 24 hours and then iron using as hot a setting as the fabric will stand, using a cloth or parchment to protect the surface.

Is this suitable for lampshades
As this paint is more designed for use on clothing and garments it may not be suitable for lampshades. It will be more dependent on the material of the lampshade and the desired finished look.
