Can this be made in a cotton-linen blend?
Unfortunately no. The pattern is designed for stable knits, therefore the fabric stated has a small amount of stretch. If you tried to make it in a woven fabric , like the one you suggested, you might find both the fitting a bit tight & no flexibility when worn. i e. When walking, it will feel tight or break the seams.
