Did the job although not perfect
Did the job. I wanted to put felt on the base of a pair of lamps so they would not scratch my furniture. I decided self adhesive was the way to go. I drew round the lamp base on the backing paper and cut round it. However, as soon as I started to peel off the backing paper the felt stretched out of shape. All was not lost as after I put the felt in postion and stuck it down I cut round the base with a craft night and although not perfect it did the job. If it's a precision job that you want or need be very careful when peeling off the backing paper.
