Not fit for purpose
The entire purpose of a chalkboard is to be able to write on it and whip it clean and this product fails to do that.
Bought it in store and was told by a member of staff that hobbycrafts “chalk pen” would work well with it.
Only issue being that once you write on it, the chalkboard is stained and can’t be removed. Wasn’t sure if this was a pen or chalkboard issue, so I tried the pen on another chalkboard I own and after 24 hours it wiped away perfectly.
If you’re intending to buy this to use more than once I would look elsewhere.

Perfect for intended use
I bought these chalkboard easels for the table numbers on our wedding tables and they’re perfect! And very reasonably priced.

Handy little chalkboard for table top information. I marked mine out for multiples of items and their prices in chalkboard pen and prices in removable chalk.

Nice little chalk board on an easel, added class to the birthday girls cake table, didn’t come with any chalks but cheap enough to buy from local shops.

Perfect little sign
Perfect size for what I needed it for, mine currently sits on a shelf with a quote of the week on. Would also be great for weddings for use on tables.

Not suitable for chalk pens
I brought this and a chalk pen online and the pen stains the board. Not suitable if you want to use more than once. Wouldn’t recommend.
