The F-4 Phantom II has served in the US Air Force since the 1960s. Designed by McDonnell Aircraft it was used in interception, bombing and reconnaissance missions, including during the Vietnam War. It reached speeds of over Mach 2 and carried a wide range of weapons.
The licensed set was built based on the plans of the F-4 aircraft to maintain the highest attention to block details. The plane has characteristic prints, movable ailerons and detachable landing gear and weapons.
The cockpit opens and can be used to place symbolic figures of pilots. The set includes a block display stand and a plate containing the name and scale of the plane.
