The COBI Roman Onager Set helps you build a catapult of ancient origin as a block model.
The Romans previously called this machine tormentum or scorpion (scorpio). The catapult standing on two skids threw stone projectiles, burning charges and other objects intended to sow terror in the enemy using a long arm with a "spoon".
In the block model, instead of tangled ropes, use a rubber band to pull the arm! You’ll be all set to quickly and safely start your own siege and throw block projectiles!
The set includes a Roman legionnaire equipped with a helmet (galea), armour (lorica segmentata), shield (scutum) and javelin (pilum). A special block extending the tunic contains prints of hanging belts (baltea).
You can place the catapult on the included block base imitating a fragment of terrain.
